1995-2009: Member, Nicholasville-Jessamine County Parks and Recreation Board.

1996-2006: Vice-Chairman, Nicholasville-Jessamine County Parks and Recreation Board.

2006-2009: Chairman, Nicholasville-Jessamine County Parks and Recreation Board.

  • Participated in hiring a park director for the County.
  • Worked on master plan and development of Riney B. Park.
  • Oversaw improvements to neighborhood parks such as the installation of playground equipment, shelters, etc.
  • Worked with engineers, contractors and staff on revitalization
    of Lake Mingo and Rock Fence Parks which included construction of a skate park, basketball courts and concert stage.
